Lava International on Friday expanded its budget lineup in India with the introduction of the Blaze Dragon smartphone, priced at Rs 8,999 under a limited-time offer.
Equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, the Blaze Dragon delivers an AnTuTu benchmark score of 450,000. The handset pairs 4GB of RAM with an additional 4GB of virtual RAM, and uses UFS 3.1 storage for faster app loading and multitasking. A 6.74-inch display and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor are included in the design.
The Blaze Dragon runs on stock Android 15 and offers one OS version upgrade plus two years of security patches. Lava has avoided preinstalled advertisements and additional apps, aligning with its commitment to a clean software experience.
Photography is handled by a 50-megapixel AI rear camera and an 8-megapixel front shooter. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging via USB Type-C.
At launch, Lava is offering the Blaze Dragon for Rs 8,999, down from its list price of Rs 9,999. Bank partners are providing an extra Rs 1,000 off through Amazon’s Great Freedom Festival, and any-brand exchange deals will knock off another Rs 1,000.
Sales begin August 1 at 12 a.m. exclusively on Amazon India. Lava will support the device through its Free Service-@Home program nationwide, with additional service available at authorised retail outlets.
